Self discovery is born of the process of creation.  The end result is a visual story that captures a feeling or a fleeting moment in time.  The image, still and static, yet alive with meaning.  A story that has a past and a future all present for the viewer to determine.  Color and expressive brushwork allows for personal interpretation asking the viewer to complete the blanks.  As active participants, the story is theirs for the final say.  It is now theirs for further creation. Thus linking us together as creators, poets, dreamers, artists.  A beautiful form of connected conversation, forever linked to the story.  That, is my ultimate goal as an artist.  - CL McNally
